It is a female figure known as stri. The figure has arms and legs out stretched and finger depressions for eye sockets , a cut for mouth and prominent genitalia. Prepared clay lump is hand moulded to make these figures.These figures are used mainly to guard against illness or to combat evil spirits by offering it to the sacred grooves called Goli ki Mathh in south Gujarat.
