Ferrié, Gustave Auguste (X 1887 ; 1868-1932)

General and scholar. He worked on the establishment of an efficient wireless telegraphy, he developed the electrolytic detector (1900). His work increased the range of the Eiffel Tower transmitter from 400 to 6,000 km and dedicated French military telegraphy during the First World War.
