Composition in light shades of ochre, green, gray, rose and white and earthy and black tones. Smooth texture in the background and thick the right arm is of Jesus. Figures represented with significant and deliberated deformed expressions. It depicts Jesus being laid in the tomb, flanked by four apostles. In the center, Jesus' body lying over a shroud, head to the left and feet to the right at the graveside. Next to the body of Jesus, from left to right: man bent profile to right, holding Jesus by the armpits; a man facing forward, head turned to the left; man bent forward and man facing forward, head turned to the left, holding the shroud on the edge of the grave. They all wear dark tunics. Greenish background with geometrical ochre areas near the figures. The strong contrast of light and dark tones accentuate the drama of the scene. .
