Last Place at Brunette Downs

The last place runner at the Northern Territory's oldest race meeting on Brunette Downs Station.

Biography:
Glenn Campbell has had images published on just about every front page of every major newspaper in Australia, as well as a few runs overseas as well. 'Last Place at Brunette Downs' is a personal favourite, as it resulted in Picture Editor Peter Rae nearly wetting himself when it came over The Sydney Morning Herald picture desk and his first of six Walkley Awards nominations (with one win). Glenn wasn't actually behind the camera for this one; the photo was taken on a remote camera from the bar of the Brunette Downs Amateur Racing Association. He has found himself mid-career, after 25 years as a local photojournalist with The Northern Territory News, embedded in his own community and loving every minute of it.
