Head On Foundation

Head On Foundation, a non-profit organisation, supports and promotes both emerging and established photographers and brings their compelling visual storytelling to national and international audiences. This is done through two established annual events, the Head On Photo Festival and Head On Photo Awards.

Head on Photo Festival has proven itself unquestionably to be Australia's premier photography event. It attracts professionals, leaders, students and enthusiasts from both Australian and international art communities. The Festival features exhibitions, discussions, community engagement & education programs led by Australian and international thought leaders.

It's the unique and anonymous judging procedure, assuring all proposals are considered on visual merit alone, that cements the Foundation's reputation for integrity, inclusivity and equality. This consolidates as one of the world's leading festivals.
