Maison Tropicale

This prefabricated sheet steel and aluminium tropical house was originally erected in Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo, in 1951. This is a demonstration of its construction, published in the Architectural Review in 1952. In 2008 it was restored and erected outside Tate Modern, London, as part of an exhibition held at the Design Museum.
