This photograph was taken after Maria and Jerzy Kuncewicz came back to Poland. They returned after more than 20 years abroad. They left Kazimierz Dolny in September 1939. During their wartime roaming, they stayed, among others, in France and England. In the 1950s, they decided to leave for the USA. Although they acquiredd American citizenship, they chose to spend the last stage of their lives in the “Squirrel” Villa in Kazimierz Dolny.
