Sakau (kava) bushes are brought into the community assembly house for displaying in front of high chiefs. Carriers produce a joyful atmosphere with shouting cheers (seh) and dance movements. To emphasize the quality and size of the sakau tribute, small sakau bushes are carried first and then gradually increase the size of the bushes. The bushes are accumulated as high as possble to stress the quantity. A lively, dynamic atmosphere is created by workers' vivacious actions and shouts of instructions and encouragement.
