The painting is a representation in which the desire is sublimated and comes into play a kind of dreamy suspension, of timelessness of action in which eroticism and pleasure subside and let the senses surrender to sweet effusions, to the languid exchange of kisses, the feeling of the skin on the skin, in front of a calm and enveloping sea.
