In "Shooting Stars" Angelo Dall'Oca Bianca intends to express the spontaneity of the emotions and moods that pass through the lovers before their offering themselves at the act of love. The painting is a representation in which the desire is sublimated and comes into play a kind of dreamy suspension, of timelessness of action in which eroticism and pleasure subside and let the senses surrender to sweet effusions, to the languid exchange of kisses, the feeling of the skin on the skin, in front of a calm and enveloping sea.
