Galleria d'Arte Moderna Achille Forti is housed in Palazzo della Ragione (1193), a historic building belonging to the municipality of Verona located between the very central Piazza delle Erbe and Piazza dei Signori. The exhibition hosts, on a rolling basis, the works of the modern and contemporary collection narrating the developments of art in Italy from 1830 to the present day, and offers unprecedented paths on themes and insights that have distinguished the cultural landscape of this chronological span.
The collection's holdings have been enriched from the beginning of the twentieth century to the present day thanks to donations, bequests, acquisitions and loans that have enabled the Gallery to offer visitors an understanding of the various languages of both authors already established in the international art scene and young emerging artists, witnessing the most current artistic research.
