Mills and Water Wheel

In "Mills and Water Wheel" Angelo Dall'Oca Bianca represents the view of the bend of the river Adige with the mills, the subject of many paintings made in different periods of his activity. In the canvas, the green load of the river is crossed by brushstrokes of intense blue and is contrasted by the reflections of a twilight in which are immersed the artificial structures of the wheel and the sloping roofs in the background.
