This portrait is a marble copy of the bronze statue originally made by Lysippos, one of the most important sculptors of his time. In this work, which reflects the sculpture art of the Hellenistic Period very well, it is observed that the hair surrounds the head like a lion's mane, which is especially prominent in the sculptures of Alexander the Great. Thus, it gives the portrait a youthful and energetic expression. It is desired to emphasize the expression of breathing after exertion with details such as deep forehead lines, slightly low eyebrows, round eyes and a slightly open mouth.
