Geometrized areas make up the background there is superposition of light and dark on the figures. On the left, Lazarus profile to on the right, kneeling and with the upper body leaning back as if rising. He has the face covered by the shroud and the body wrapped in bands who are the loose ends on the wrists. He folded arms and hands with very high deformed fingers and the mean, and minimum void on the left shows an advanced stage of decomposition. On the right figure of one of his sisters, 3/4 turned to the left and knees. Has his head back to face revealing expression anguished seeing is "stone tears" falling on the face and arms folded up with open hands. wear light-colored dress with black polka dot half sleeve and neckline fetch zigzag. A little behind the center between the two figures, you see, part of another sister of Lazarus, it is visible part of the bust, arms up and that the on the left is suggested by transparency, open hands and head 3 / 4 toward the on the left and leaning forward. It has defined facial features revealing expression of amazement. Background in geometrical areas in various shades of gray and that on the left and on the right are seen tracks filled by dashes symmetrically distributed vertically. The areas overlap the background figures creating chiaroscuro effects.
