The Art School (Kunstschule) building. Henry van de Velde designed two schools here from 1904-1911, one, the Kunstschule (Art School) and two the Kunstgewerbeschule (Technical or Applied Arts School). It was here the Bauhaus opened in 1919, before moving to Dessau in 1925-1926.
