Nurdio Trentini (1907-1982) was born into a family of painters. Although inspired in the early phases by the stylistic manner of his older brother Guido, over the years he developed a personal style, embracing expressionist, abstractionist, and cubist styles at various stages. "Still Life" with a vase and eggs testifies to Trentini's adherence to the subject of still life, which he investigated several times throughout his artistic activity.
