Walter Gropius

The image came from the 'Bill of Fare' or menu for the dinner, held in honour of Gropius, at the Trocadero, Piccadilly, London, before his departure for Harvard University. The dinner was hosted by the London friends of the architect, notably Maxwell Fry, Dr Julian Huxley (Chair), Jack Pritchard and Wells Coates of Isokon.
