Following on from Paul Edmunds' artist-in-residence, his host Krafthaus developed one of the artist's experiments "seersucker felt" (please see other image) into a commercial design, "Koffieklip". The name is in Afrikaans (a South African language) and describes a patch of little pebbles, an apt description for the blanket's texture. Especially for a blanket that size, it sits lightly on the body whilst still offering comforting warmth.
