Social Fabric SA is a collaborative platform for artists, designers and textile manufacturers in South Africa. The country is rich in natural textile materials and unique creativity, resources that can fuel the fashion and textile industry's innovation pipeline.
The project focused on 4 textiles or "iterations", felt, mohair, socks and off-cuts and these are profiled in 4 exhibitions. Along side are 3 other exhibitions of a wider cultural lens showcasing South African art, fashion, landscape and history.
