  • About Creator: As she calls herself, Sineia is a researcher of Amazonian ceramics. The daughter, granddaughter and great-granddaughter of potters, she and her husband, Mr. Rosemiro Pereira, were influenced by Marajoara ceramics. They merged it with the ceramics that were already produced in Icoaraci, a district of Belém, 18km from the city, thus giving rise to Icoaraci ceramics. Today, Sineia passes on her knowledge to new generations.
