Discover the life and times of Valery Brusov - one of the most prominent representatives of Silver Age epoch, who managed to express his time in all its fragility, fluctuations and transitivity. Gain a new perspective on a period of cultural upheavals and pursuits. Brusov museum was founded in 1962 as a department of Brusov Study Room. In 2010 Brusov Study Room was subdivided into Brusov Science Center of Yerevan Brusov State University of Languages and Social Sciences and Brusov Museum.
The museum collection includes over 250 items. The museum houses the poet's personal items, his original books, translations, antemortem publications and famous artists' paintings presented to the museum by Brusov family. The exhibition also includes Brusov's death mask and his hand's mold made by academician S.Merkurov.
In 2012 an exhibition Brusov Readings History was opened at Brusov Museum, arranged for 50th anniversary of assignment of Brusov's name to the University and convening of the first conference Brusov Readings in 1962. Other categories are also displayed at the museum, in particular, ''Brusov's Biography'', ''Brusov's Cultural Heritage'', ''Books Published during Brusov's lifetime'' (1894-1924), ''Brusov and Armenia'', ''Brusov as World Literature Translator'', ''Brusov and Silver Age''.
In 2013 Brusov museum was presented at Intermuseum-2013 international festival and was included in a catalogue Memorial Museums of Representatives of Russian History, Science and Culture on CIS territory. In 2015 Brusov Museum was included in Yerevan Museums Tourist Guide Catalog and in 2016 - in The Museums of Armenia and Artsakh Guidebook. In 2017 Brusov Museum was included in Worldwide Database of University Museums and Collections.
