The Fondazione e Archivio Antonio Ligabue di Parma - founded by Augusto Agosta Tota - is committed to promoting the image and work of Antonio Ligabue.
Following scientific and rigorous criteria, the Fondazione e Archivio Antonio Ligabue di Parma has set itself the goal of including Ligabue among the major artists, not only Italians, of twentieth-century expressionist painting by critically elaborating the greatness of the work.
This goal was achieved after decades of intense promotional work, relationships between public bodies, institutions and men of culture as well as the creation of exhibitions always accompanied by complete and graphically accurate publications.
Among the numerous exhibitions dedicated to Ligabue organized by the founder Augusto Agosta Tota are: Hamburg (1977), Toronto (1979), Paris (1982), Milan, Palazzo Reale (2008), Rome, Parco della Musica (2009), Florence, Palazzo Pitti (2010-11), Parma, Labyrinth of the Masone (2015), Moscow, Museum of Contemporary History of Russia (2018), Parma, Palazzo Tarasconi (2020-21), Ferrara, Palazzo dei Diamanti (2020-21).
