Founded in 1869, for over one hundred and fifty years the Fondazione Querini Stampalia has embodied the vision of its founder, Count Giovanni, a bold and visionary pioneer, with the aim of “promoting the cult of good studies and useful disciplines”. Located in the heart of Venice, the Foundation is a vibrant crossroads where past and present intertwine: from its precious artistic collections to its rich library, to the spaces reinvented by some of the masters of contemporary architecture.
