Katkatha Puppet Arts Trust

The Katkatha Puppet Arts Trust is a Delhi based puppet theatre company which began in 1998. The key area of work is travelling to festivals across India and the world. Katkatha collaborates with many international puppet theatre companies and festivals on projects and co-productions. A key priority is creating a rigorous training system for professional puppeteers through intensive short courses and workshops in puppet techniques and supporting interns who learn by following the work of the company. The focus is to train the next generation of professional puppeteers, create a discourse around puppetry and also build network of puppeteers.
