The Venezuelan pavilion is the first building of a Latin American country in the gardens of the Venice Biennale, and Carlo Scarpa first construction in his hometown.
Open in 1956, 28. at the Esposizione Internazionale d'Arte.
With works by Venezuelan artists Alejandro Otero, Francisco Narvaez, Armando Reverón, Hector Poleo and Armando Barrios and with the presence of the President of the Republic of Italy, Giovanni Gronchi.
