Reforestamos México A.C.

Reforestamos México, a civil association, aims to promote sustainable development by ensuring more and better forests. Their actions focus on halting deforestation, enhancing sustainable forest management, restoring degraded lands, and planting trees in urban areas. Recognizing the value of trees and fostering collaboration and understanding of various interests are crucial for Reforestamos. The "Sentinels of Time" photography contest was created to highlight majestic trees and initiate strategies for protecting Mexico's forests and jungles. The contest features three categories: wild trees in natural environments, rural trees accompanying agricultural or livestock production, and urban trees providing shade and enhancing public spaces.
