The District Museum in Toruń belongs to the oldest and largest museum institutions that has operated incessantly until present day within the present boundaries of the Republic of Poland. It has eight divisions, in the scope of which it protects, examines, educates and presents the tangible and intangible heritage of Toruń and its region, drawing from the European and global culture.
In response to the challenges of present times, it actively cooperates with and for the society, building the community of shared values, based on respect for history, art, monuments, environment and another human being.
