We identify opportunities and establish bridges between leaders, socio-environmental organizations and opinion makers, expanding the discussion of relevant topics to present the perspective of traditional peoples in professional press coverage. Our purpose is to guarantee that policies of State consider the rights of these peoples to build a more aware, fair and sustainable future.

'To What End?'

To What End is a series of short videos created by Uma Gota No Oceano to recapture a sacred view of nature through the eyes of the people who inhabit the Tapajós Basin, in the Amazon river, Brazil.

The goal of the series is to foster reflection on the true objectives of pursuing an energy policy based on damming Brazilian rivers.

Alessandra Munduruku expresses her gratitude for the international support that Brazilian indigenous people have received from all over the world. This video was recorded in the context of the electoral campaign for president of Brazil in 2018.

Indigenous peoples of different ethnicities from all regions of Brazil sent a statement to COP24, reporting how climate change disrupts their traditional way of life and how they act to mitigate these effects.

Among the damages of climate change is its impact on rivers and, consequently, on fish and vegetation that are essential for the survival of traditional peoples.
