Rhythm Movement and Inspiration from Feelings

"Rhythm and Life No.2" by Kiettisak Chanonnart

Rhythm and Life No.2 (1992) by Kiettisak ChanonnartArt Centre Silpakorn University

The oil painting with a distinct use of a range of blue pigments, from dark to light, creating mystery and different dimensions.

Despite that, the inclusion of light-yellow pigments contributes to the visual sense of peace.

The unconventional shapes and composition draw attention to question the context behind the art.

Through surrealism, Kiattisak Chanonnart channeled his emotions and imagination using blue pigments as deep as the color of the oceans.

Multiple different shapes as well as curved lines are incorporated to depict different states of emotions, movement, and, surprisingly, calmness.

Each curved line in various parts of the painting represents each shape of humans in simplistic yet distinct and surreal approaches.

The circles lined with light pigments resemble the eyes, illustrating the existence of life and eagerness.

The lines directed towards the same spot above the water surface reflect the subconscious of the artist.

The interpretation of symbols, derived from the life of the painter Kiattisak Chanonnart, is urged through each element of the painting, as he is captivated by the art of surrealism and its ability to depict the rhythm of life through it.
