The summer residence of the Dukes
The facade that can be admired from the staircase of the garden shows the grandeur of the palace, with its four towers and the staircase, built by Ennemond Alexandre Petitot in 1758, with the large terrace that leads to the main floor.

Emperor Francis I
Francis I was the Duke of Lorraine and Bar, and later Grand Duke of Tuscany. Married Maria Theresa of Austria and became Holy Roman Empero and Archduke of Austria. The oil painting was probably executed by an Austrian court painter of the school of Martin van Meytens.
