The Astronomic Observatory

The most striking room of the Apartment. The vault is painted with the wind rose supports by four small blowing children and all around the constellations and the signs of the Zodiac.

Moses room

The decorations of the room were made by Antonio Bresciani and Gaetano Ghidetti between 1787 and 1789. On the walls there are painted tapestries depicting biblical scenes that share the theme of clothing, perhaps referring to the divine investiture of royal power. This painting represents "Moses consecrating Eleazzar king of Israel".

Abraham room

On the walls there are four biblical scenes on painted tapestries representing the theme of journeys. This panting represents "Abraham and Lot separate their paths". Above the doors there are round monochrome paintings with putti playing games.

Allegory of Silence

In the vault of the bedroom there is the representation of the "Allegory of Silence" by Domenico Muzzi

Allegory of History

"The Allegory of History defeating time, advised by Truth and with Mercury behind it" was painted by Domenico Muzzi in the vault of the Library of the Apartment of the Duke Ferdinand of Bourbon. The room used to contain more than six thousand volumes.
