Start exploring Sindh

Sindh is a province in southeastern Pakistan. Here you'll find Kunri, a town locally known as the dried red chilli capital of Asia. There is also a big cultivation of wheat in this province, contributing to the overall food security of the nation.

Mirpur Khas is an agricultural hub in Sindh, where ripe bananas are famously harvested and used as an ingredient in cooking. The warm climate of Sindh also provides an ideal environment for the cultivation of Chikoo, a luscious and sweet fruit.

In northern Sindh, the town of Ranipur is famous for its sugarcane harvest and is home to one of the largest sugar mills in Pakistan. Speaking of largest, Karachi is Pakistan’s biggest city, home to amazing street food and even the Founder of Pakistan's house.

Journey to Balochistan

Over in the southwestern region of Pakistan, Balochistan is a hub for many varieties of dry fruit, including almonds and raisins. Why not try the signature tribal dish of Balochistan Sajji, a slow-cooked meal of meat or chicken seasoned with a blend of salt.

The port city of Gwadar is the center for maritime activities in Balochistan, where lots of seafish can be found. You can also find 'The Princess of Hope', a natural rock formation found along the Makran coast.

Travel to Punjab

Here is where you'll find one of Pakistan’s biggest exporters, mangoes, grown in Southern Punjab and Sindh. Millet is also an essential ingredient harvested in the fields of Punjab and used to make a delicious gluten-free flatbread.

The largest city in Punjab, Lahore is not only known for it historical landmarks, including the Minar-e-Pakistan tower and Badshahi Mosque, but also for its breakfast. Phajjay ke Paye, a meal of flavorful trotters, is a unique and popular morning dish.

Take a fruitful foray to Gilgit Baltistan

Gilgit-Baltistan is a region located in northern Pakistan. It is surrounded by some of the world's highest mountains, including the famous Himalayas and Karakoram ranges. It is also known for its fresh produce whyich abounds due to the favorable climate and fertile soil.
