Our story is about the powdery skies of southern Balochistan, where warm waters come to rest, where the wind revolves in the sky, dusting the faces of people in the busy seaside fish markets of Gwadar.

Where water meets rock, Gwadar, along the Gulf of Oman, embraced by the Arabian Sea, is a sought after port, which has a rich history of Omani heritage, Irani influences and Pakistani culture.

The Bazaars of Gwadar

Gwadar has two main bazaars, namely the Shahi and Jannat Bazaar. 

Take a walk through these bazaars and sample what they have to offer.

The Jannat Bazaar is named after a lady called Jannat, which translates to heaven.

The Jannat Bazaar has a wide variety of items available such as fresh food, clothes and home décor among others.

The Shahi Bazaar

Gwadar is home to the remains of a Royal Bazaar - where Shah’s would stroll - known locally as the Shahi Bazaar.
