AN NAM

This collection re-imagines four major Vietnamese cultural symbols—the turban, halter top, bamboo internode, and rice grain—in Bát Tràng ceramics using a modern creative approach.

Vietnamese Turban (2024-10-20) by Bát Tràng Museum and Diệu AnhBát Tràng Museum

Mấn Đội Đầu (Vietnamese Turban)

Created in the style of the renowned Romanian sculptor Constantin Brancusi, this ceramic turban is an attempt to honor the pristine beauty of the Vietnamese traditional headress. Its simplified form features intricately sculpted folds, lending the piece a contemporary feel.

Vietnamese Halter Top (2024) by Bát Tràng Museum and Diệu AnhBát Tràng Museum

Áo Yếm (Vietnamese Halter Top)

Made from a combination of bronze and ceramic using a contemporary design language, this statue is created in the image of the áo yếm, a Vietnamese traditional fabric.

Rice Grain Vase (2) (2024-10-20) by Bát Tràng Museum and Diệu AnhBát Tràng Museum

Bình gốm Hạt lúa (Rice Grain Vase)

Inspired by the rice grain, a symbol of prosperity, each Rice Grain Vase is unique. Kiln-fired glazes transform each piece, ensuring no two are alike. While distinct, all share the rice grain's form—delicately tilted and grounded by a steel base, conveying elegance and prestige.

The Bamboo (2024-10-20) by Bát Tràng Museum and Diệu AnhBát Tràng Museum

Cây Tre (The Bamboo)

Iconic in Oriental cultures, these bamboo internodes are available singly or in sets of two or three. They make stunning jewelry displays when grouped, or striking decorative pieces when hung or stacked, perfect for brightening any space.
