Peter Lundberg, USA

The
focus of Peter Lundberg's work is large, public sculpture, often of concrete
cast in the earth. His recent works have been fabricated for
government projects in China, USA and Germany.

Lundberg
frequently creates his works at the sites where they will be installed, as his
sculptures can weigh as much as 100 tonnes. Some of his most visible sculptures are exhibited
at Grounds for Sculpture in New Jersey, on the George Washington Bridge in
Manhattan, NYC, off Highway 95 in Norwalk, CT, Sud Park in Nuremburg, Germany,
Tangsham, Beijing, China, and at the world respected Storm King Arts Center,
NY.

Two
major works exhibited recently at Sculpture
by the Sea are now in the Town of Cottesloe Sculpture Collection in Perth and the Royal Botanic Gardens Collection
in Sydney. His work Ring at Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi 2014 won the
Macquarie Group Sculpture Prize.

"Built on site at Thompson Estate winery in Margaret River amongst the vines. Inspiration was taken from the red earth landscape of the region".
