At Hybrid Art Fair, the audience typically find that the artists themselves explain their artwork, due to the huge quantity of projects and spaces run by artists in the exhibitor program. Over 150 creators take part in the fair, from emerging artists to those at the peak of their career. In addition, each year a call for artists is opened where around 10 projects are selected. These later form part of the program Displaced.

Hybrid Art Fair takes place in a hotel—inside the rooms. Each hotel residency is taken up by a different artistic space, so the audience experience something different whenever they enter, leave, and journey through each space.

Hybrid Art Fair is much more than an art fair with exhibitions. The fair is committed to a dynamic program of activities, creating a unique experience for each visitor.

The program plays with the limits of contemporary art, focusing on transdisciplinary activities.

Furthermore, Hybrid is a unique fair that plays with the limits of its own format by night, turning into a music festival that hosts artists from the local indie scene alongside experimental submissions,

from acoustic art to performances.

The fourth edition of the fair was held from February 28 to March 1, 2020 in Madrid.

The fair also has a space for dialogue and sharing experiences: Talking Independent. This forum tackles hot topics from the independent cultural landscape, both local and international.
