Reforming Buddhist Tradition

Je Tsongkhapa founded the Ganden Monastery in Lhasa in 1409 and laid the foundation of the Yellow Hat sect of Buddhism through his reformation of the precepts of the Buddhist religious prayer chanting rites, the Dharmic monastic robes of the monks, and the vows and ordination.

As one of the Ten Wrathful Guardian Deities of the Dharma, this deity eradicates diseases, evilness, and evil tongue, and it bestows all good wishes, flourishes the virtues, eliminates the dangers of thirst and hunger, and aid the achievement and success.
