'Arte Urbana que MOVE' (something like ‘urban art that moves you’), brought two mural interventions in the public space of Figueira da Foz, made by 2 Portuguese urban artists: GonçaloMar and Halfstudio. Working with the young community, we also held two workshops: 'Urban Laboratory', guided by the urban artist GonçaloMar and 'Urban art in cross stitch', workshop guided by AHENEAH.

Through the hands of the Halfstudio duo, a connection portal appears between the sea and the city of Figueira da Foz.

The artists idealized the central staircase of the Esplanada Silva Guimarães as a “Portal” that connects two worlds: The Sea and the City. When we go down to the beach appears the message “Soul in the sea” that refers to the relationship between locals and the sea and the influence it has on them and their daily life in this city.

When we go up, the message “Brightness in the city” is related to the liveliness, energy and architecture of the city.
