"When Claude Parent, Jean Nouvel and I got together, we immediately began to talk about museums: of their reading of history and knowledge; of these conversations with works, which are a form of rest in front of endless work. Museums are my reading. These unrealized museums are the book of possible stories: these museums which we could have read, or which could have read us; the images that are brought together invite us to feel time, directly. I am thrilled to discover them myself, and to give them to see; to give a space to that freedom." Azzedine Alaïa
