Practical Portals is an experimental series combining somatic performance, oral prose, and solfeggio frequencies to explore embodied healing. Guided by natural elements, its five vignettes invite viewers to reimagine belonging, memory, and ancestry asking: What do I need to remember?

Marwa  features herself as a protagonist guided by elemental forces—fire, earth, water, air—each shaping the plot. The series traces her journey of self-discovery and healing, as she transforms suffering into acceptance, offering a transformative alchemy to audiences.

Introduces Marwa, using her body as a performance site, with solfeggio beats and cultural symbolism to explore themes of home and belonging through the root chakra.

Investigates survivorship and redemption through the solar plexus chakra and a 528 Hz solfeggio beat. It narrates Marwa’s journey with a burn scar, exploring fire's dual role as a life force and destroyer. As she embraces her scars, Marwa heals familial curses and grows in power.

This segment honors her as a paragon of faith and resilience, inspiring Marwa to embody similar strength. Marwa symbolically becomes the mountain, finding stability and grounding in her body despite life's uncertainties, transforming ancestral grief into awe.
