All City Canvas started in 2012, inspired by the Mexican muralist movement, as one of the most important urban festivals in the world in Mexico City. All City Canvas has evolved in its way of spreading its message and currently it is one of the most influential street culture platforms. The artist

Sego y Obval is a self-taught Mexican artist who lived in Oaxaca for a few years and began drawing animals he discovered there. From then on, he found nature, animals and vegetation to be his main sources of inspiration.

His work is filled with organic forms that coexist with fantastic creatures that seem to inhabit their own world.

Sego developed his iconic style using aerosol and a hatch pattern.

The mural

The mural resembles a fish tank where three fishes swim in different directions. A first interpretation is concerning free will. However, one of those fishes is a gar, a very common species in the Mexican Southeast and particularly in the state of Tabasco.

General Elections were held in Mexico in 2012. The candidates were Enrique Peña Nieto, Josefina Vázquez Mota, and Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who is from Tabasco and is referred as "El peje".
