This is Quilt 021 of 042 in the UK AIDS Memorial Quilt collection, created during the late 1980's and early 1990's before there was effective treatment for people living with HIV.

Andrew and AJ met whilst at Balliol college Oxford. They were not able to be open about their sexuality or relationship. Andrew loved music, tulips roses, and the moon. The panel includes a cassette tape of favourite music.
