A Background Look at the Birth of the States of the Mexican Republic

Before the consolidation of the Mexican territory as a Federal Republic, the Consummation of Independence and the coronation of Augustine I as Emperor of the First Empire were important factors that influenced the creation of the state.

Printed band by means of which the mandate of the Regency of the Empire and of the provisional governmental Board was published in Nueva Galicia, so that all authorities, both civil, military and ecclesiastical, "keep and make keep" this decree that indicates that, From the declaration of Independence, all authority must emanate from the new Empire, in adherence to the Plan of Iguala and the Treaty of Córdova. Issued on October 6, 1821, published in Guadalajara on October 31, 1821.
