Chineke! Orchestra is a truly international orchestra, comprising Black, Asian and ethnically diverse musicians from all over Europe. It has performed in concert halls across the world and collaborates with international artists and organisations.

European Tour 2019 with Elena Urioste

In 2019 Chineke! Orchestra embarked on a European tour with American violinist Elena Urioste, a BBC New Generation Artist. After an opening concert at London’s Southbank Centre, the orchestra travelled across Europe performing at leading concert halls in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.

The next stop on Chineke! European Tour was Amsterdam's world-famous Concertgebouw. From Amsterdam they travelled to Germany for performances in Cologne, Antwerp and Aachen.

Music Across The Ocean: A Transatlantic Lockdown Concert

During the Covid-19 lockdown in 2020 Chineke! joined forces with the Sphinx Organization based in Detroit. Uniting through music, they performed Samuel Coleridge-Taylor's Othello Suite, with 72 musicians and 9 conductors performing together from around the world.
