The Museu Marítim de Barcelona is located in the Drassanes Reials (Royal Shipyards) building, a Gothic-style Catalan monumental civil construction that is over 700 years old.
Visit the MMB and you’ll find out all about Catalonia’s culture and maritime heritage, with the exhibitions Catalunya mar enllà (Catalonia beyond the sea), Les Sorres X, 7 vaixells, 7 històries (7 vessels, 7 stories) and Drassanes i Galeres (Shipyards and galleys), as well as other exhibitions that explore the main thematic areas.
In addition to the Museu and its temporary exhibitions, you can also visit the schooner Santa Eulàlia, one of the oldest sailing ships of the Mediterranean. It is moored at Moll de la Fusta, at the Port of Barcelona.
