Formed by the Amoras Livres Collective in co-creation with Afrontelab, Veados Campeiros and Ser trans, Nucleus 1: Affection as Politics seeks to address aspects of intimacy in collective relations.

Empowered by plurality, the people who make up these collectives come together to build a space of affection, care and to combat the silencing that affects many dissident bodies.
Affection is seen here as a political form of mutual empowerment.

Founded in 2020, the Ser Trans project was created in order to expand free access spaces where trans people could share their stories, with their voices and bodies, without the intervention of cisgender people.

Formed in 2017 by two undergraduate Visual Arts students from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), the Veados Campeiros Collective came together to create a network of support, mutual acceptance and political action.

Without distinction of gender, the word Kamba brings together a multiplicity of meanings. Originating in the Quimbundo language, one of the many languages spoken in Angola, Africa, it means those who are united by friendship, brotherhood and/or companionship. Kamba: collective dissidence brought together 6 collectives selected via a call for proposals, whose starting point was the alliances built between people from different social, sexual, affective and gender diversity backgrounds, willing to create and act together.
