Without distinction of gender, the word Kamba brings together a multiplicity of meanings. Originating in the Quimbundo language, one of the many languages spoken in Angola, Africa, it means those who are united by friendship, brotherhood and/or companionship. Kamba: collective dissidence brought together six collectives selected via a call for proposals, whose starting point was the alliances built between people from different social, sexual, affective and gender diversity backgrounds, willing to create and act together.
