On calle de Motolinía in the Historical Center …
You hear this … It is impossible not to want to go in and try the Peking style duck tacos. A culinary fusion that champions adventure.
And the aroma makes you lift your face

Where does it come from? What is its history?
This place was founded in 2014 by Edgardo Ganado Kim and Adriana Segura. Edgardo is defined as a healer, historian, and taco-maker.

Mexico and China, closer than ever.
El Auténtico Pato Manila puts two dishes on your table that you would never have thought of. The taco, the Mexican standard and Chinese antojitos (street food), whose culinary tradition is age-old.
New duck. Delicious duck.
The duck is said to be an upscale dish, however, Edgardo and Adriana managed to reverse that by mixing the typical architecture of a Mexican food venue. Tall chairs, stainless steel, boards, mirrors and even a stereo where Los Ángeles Azules can be heard.
A must
Edgardo always wanted to make duck more well-known in a place like Mexico where it's not eaten very much.
The first of many
The Peking duck was the first dish prepared in the restaurant. This dish is inspired by one of Edgardo's trips to China and he modified it by using a flour tortilla. This helped him market it in Mexico.

A feast of flavors
To try the Kim taco is to delve into a sea of textures, flavors and temperatures. The mixture of ingredients is daring, capable of surprising anyone.

First of all, it is a taco
The Peking-style cooked duck is placed on a handmade flour tortilla to start the process. Everything is heated in a comal (griddle), in the purest Mexican style. Later on, onion, gherkin, plum sauce and oyster sauce will be added to the taco.

You don't need to convince people
Edgardo and Adriana have achieved what very few do: successfully innovate in food. Visiting Mexico City and not stopping to try the delicious duck tacos would be a schoolboy error.
Rich, adventurous and original. That's El Auténtico Pato Manila.
