An aubergine ground silk brocade baluchari sari, bordered with a repeating floral band extending the length of the sari and decorated with alternating diagonal bands of identical red, white, green, and yellow floral motifs (butta) that are placed more densely close to the pallu while widely dispersed in the body of the sari. The pallu features a central row of six large kairi designs framed with a floral border, that is in turn surrounded by a wide band containing rows of a repeated motif of Europeans in a wheeled carriage.
