Guangzhou-style colored-glass windows were originally only embedded with various pieces of single-colored glass, which was commonly embossed with a regular pattern known as pineapple slice. The base section of this window is embedded with green, red, and blue single-colored glass, while the central begonia motif is covered in red pineapple slices.
