The bamboo kothi used by the indigenous communities of South Gujarat is similar to a kablo. Its cylindrical shape is achieved by curving a woven bamboo mat. The kothi is plastered with a thin layer of lipan(an admixture of mud and dung). Its lid is made in similar fashion.
